If your only doing the 2 subs and no other speakers. a decent 4 channel will do it easy, try and find a high wattage one.

depends on the RMS value of the subs. if they are about 350W RMS u might want an amp that can put out at least the same amount of power...or else u won't get the full potential. either 2 channel or 4 channel.
something like this http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... BCATID=595

cheers Anthony. ahh no id be running these of a single mono block...not a multi-channel amp....it'd wanna be a damn good multi channel. Run the subs in parrallel. More info is needed tho.....the 1200w value is this continual power output (an RMS value) or just watts (most likely being the peak power value) meaning these subs will be round 500-600w RMS if there a decent sub....not too many 2/4/5 channel amps are gonna be able to power them to anywhere near there potential. Let us know the sub brand and model....then we can provide a more concrete answer...on whtas gonna be the best value for money/power and how to wire it up.

gotta be quick mate ya 4hrs late - but yeh if I was this dude I personally would be going single mono or dual monos....but for the budget....single mono block...subs in parrallel....not bridged etc of a multi channel amp

Not necessarily - the impedance (ohms) value for his woofers havent been provided yet why I asked fo his make n sub model so I coul look up specs....same with the specs of his amp so I can see what its capable of handling stable.

What is sorry dude i take it by "They" u mean the subs ? I can find any info on google anywhere for that model ? Can u tell me whether each individual sub is a Single or Dual Voice coil sub....and it should have an ohms value....normally 2 or 4. Their a 12" so was 1200w peak ? or RMS.... id double check that part number.

ok which is a good idea since there severly under powered at the moment...will be like a whole new sub system when ya get that amp in there Clarion subs...is that 600w RMS or peak ? and rampage amp is that also 1200w RMS or peak value ? The 2 channel - did u have them wired in parrallel and then bridged over both channels or...individually wired to a channel...and was the 400w rating also RMS rating at 12 or 14.4V at 2 or 4ohms....were the subs single/dual 2 or 4 ohm coils ... Sorry for all te questions...but gives a soo much better picture to comment on ..
