Hey does anyone in here have any idea of an amp i could purchase for under 300 dollars that doesnt sound like absolute s**t, and still puts out enough sound to be heard nicely

well mate i juyst saw in the autobarn catalog that there is a clarion amp, 2 channel 50watt rms for $200. You could probably bargain with em too.
You could probably run a pair of speakers or a small sub off it.

If you are after an amp for subs Im pretty sure you can get an alpine monoblock 350W (700W when bridged) for around $300. Mine cost me that much two years ago, I doubt they would have gone up much.

firstly, look up some second hand ones... go to CAA (car audio australia)'s website and check out the amps for sale... most people on there will tell you their amps are more powerful than what they really are (ie saying its 1000 watts, but neglecting to say thats at like, .00283482 ohms) anyways check it out, find a brand... research!!
