Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on the amperage of the relays in an EF. I need a relay for a SAAB 900i but the dealer wants over $200 with a 2 week wait for it. The pin layout and the diagram on the side of the relays seems to be the same between my EF that car, but I was wondering if anyone knew what amperage each relay was capable of ?

Thanks,

Just buy an aftermarket Bosch relay.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

Yeah thanks for the replys. I am certainly hoping can get one a bit cheaper !

The guy at the Bosch shop also needed the amperage of the relay to be able to provide a replacement.

The Hella numbers are 4RA003510.50 and 9522061.

Thanks

Yeah thanks for that I have already ordered a second hand one from the US but they really want a new one as the relay seems to be a bit of a failure point.

Thanks,

There's the info. Relays shouldn't really fail and are reliable if they don't switch often and really quickly. If they are going through them then I would suspect other underlying problems.

Will check it out.

It hasn't failed before in this car but there were reported problems with this particular relay so I was on the look out for a new one.
