well you can go a 4 channel for the speakers and you can either go for a 2 channel for the sub or if you have a bit more cash get a monoblock. you could also get a 5 channel amp so u dont have to bother with more cables but there are only a few brands that make them

your speakers dont need an amo unless your hu has no internal amp.

you dont need to amp the rears, it sounds much better with the rear unamped or faded slightly out.

get a high wattage 2ch for the fronts, or a decent wattage 4ch, then bridge for the fronts once you realise you need sound coming from infront of you, not behind.

get a suitable mono, plan for the future as well.

my jaycar response 4 channel amp can run a speaker of each channel plus you can bridge subs of channel 1+2 and another of 3+4... so you can run 4 speakers plus two mono channel subs of one four channel amp.... haven't done this but just seen it in the amps book thing...

http://www.jaycar.com.au/ and its the AA-0426

the response 4x100 amp is insanely good for the price. actually all the gear at jaycar is. if you wanted to you could run the rear speakers off the headunit, the front speakers off 2 channels from that amp, and bridge 2 channels, for the sub, depending on what size/power sub your running...

ive got a 800wrms mono for my sub from there, its killer for the price.
