Here's my problem:
I have an AUX for the car dvd player which I have running to a 3.5mm socket. When I connect the mp3 player(portable) to it I barely get any sound(I get some, however I need to turn the volume way up to hear it properly). Do I buy one of the kit amps that Jaycar / DSE etc sell and wire that up between the AUX and 3.5mm socket? How would I go about amplifying the sound so that I do not need to turn the volume way up? |

turn the volume up on your mp3 player to about 4/5ths of full

that does not help, I probably should have mentioned earlier that I have the volume of the mp3 player at max when i turn the stereo volume up.

Tried talking to the people at JayCar about the product? Some of them are helpful, and some of them don't know s**t, but go get someone who does who is then helpful...
