Sorry to post a new topic on my same problem i was hoping andrew might be able to help me again...with my light problems. ive had a look at the brown wire and its connected to one of those white pluggy things. ive connected the wiring harness i bought to that white pluggy thing. im wondering if that means the brown wire is connected to something else that is causing the problem. i am also wondering if connecting the head black wire to the car black wire is wrong aswell ...please help !

Lol, dude, get with the lingo well if the brown wire is going into the original plug on the car side (which it should) and then the adapter that you bought has a wire that goes from the cars plug to the new deck, then theres a chance its connected wrong. The easiest way to see if this is the case would be to snip the wire and see if it still happens. Not what id do, as id just have a look at my wiring diagrams and trace the wires. First things first but, disconnect your stereo from the plug, and then replace the fuse and try your lights. If it doesnt blow you can be fairly confident that its the wiring (which im fairly sure of anyway) adapter. So try that first.
