Just wondering what the Peerless XLS or XXLS subs are like, have never had the chance to listen to them before. I know the XLS can be put in tiny enclosures, for the twelve Peerless reccomends a 20L enclosure. The XXLS Like much larger enclosures.
Has anyone had any experiance with these before? |

I've got a VDO Dayton HPS12, which was manufactured by Peerless for VDO and has very similar specs to the XLS I think. These subs are highly rated by many car audio enthusiasts.
Mine fits in really well into my system, it is not over powering, it just disappears into the music. I've had people ask me if I had a sub in the car, then I turn it down and then they hear the difference, that's how I like it. I'm only running mine of a 4 ch. amp at the moment, I need to get a bigger amp to run it better, they say these get better with more power and generally handle a lot more than they are rated for. |
