i am only after sound quality/ performance.
if i wanted kicker then i would get it.

if im buying subs on ebay im not wanting to pay out my a**.....

ha ha you would buy a daywoo one over fosgate ha h aha

if you are going to do a stereo do it right the first time trust me ive gone through 3 before spending 8 large on mine

kicker have some good SQ subs by the way

no, not kiddin i always thaught Rockford was good until i had a good look and listen to them at autobarn the other weekend. A cheaper pioneer system sounded better then the rockford. having a close look at the rockford fosgate HU resembeled a cheaper VDO brand unit. no kidding the finish quality looked rather poor on the HU dunno bout the speakers and subs. But it was defenetly overpriced for what your getting. if you dont believe me check em out yourself.

Have checked out many RF products and what you describe is simply what happens when you only look at the entry level gear. You are right - alot of their HU look tacky (which is why I run pioneer) but just because you don't have enough resources to spend on the higher end gear does not mean that the Brand Name is good, bad or otherwise.

There is absolutely no way that RF or their highend brand TeamRF are inferior to a daewoo woofer. To think otherwise is to simply be uninformed.

you dont have to get 8 large... just buy the best with what youve got but for 250 you could get a better woofer, one that is actually a brand
