The AU does have a code, as did earlier models. Quote Ford the VIN Number and you will get the code required.

leave key in accessory position with radio on "Err showing for about an hour should bring up "CODE" again -

as per SWC VIN no.and then Ford to obtain code,as long as radio hasn't been swapped at some previous time - try contacting previous owner as they may have code or be able to verify if original radio -

if radio has been changed you may be able to remove and use serial no. from radio to obtain code from Ford or a radio repairer - sometimes radio may have code written on housing in texta by supplier (wrecker etc.)..................................

VIN Number is the Vehicle Identification Number. Check your compliance plate.

There will be no code on the key barrel. As Ted said, check on the radio casing and see if there is a code written on it. If not quote Ford the VIN Number and ask for the code for the radio or ask the previous owner for the manual if he still has it.

You're 37... How many cars have you driven?

Ignore the numbers on the barrel, you put the key in at lock and the first click around is accy, the second click is on, and the third click is spring release start...

Cheers,
Tim

. Hate to say it but unless you can find a electronics tech that knows how to dissable the security
You might as well throw it in the bin or try find another used one with the code that still works
