Hi, I’ve recently bought a Au11 99' I believe that it is a ex-taxi because of the ks' its done, but it doesn’t have the ford smart lock on it, it has some stingy immobilizer instead, is there a way I take remove the immobilizer and put a smartlock/smartshield on it?

What makes you say that it doesnt have smartsheild? Smartshield is an integral part of the ECU and BEM, you cant simply remove it or disable it in favour of some aftermarket immobiliser.

Well it doesnt have the keypad like you would if i had the smartlock/smartsheild. its just a two button thing to alarm and disable, and its starting to fall apart,
