Hi all

I have disconnected my battery and have had to enter a security code.
In my service book and other stuff that was given to me when purchased, I found 2 numbers and tried both with no luck, then went to Ford who told me my pin was 0000. The only problem was my 6 disk headunit doesn't have a 0 button, so I pushed 1111 and now it has locked me out and can't try any other combo's

Ford have suggested to pull out unit and see if it has a number written on it.

The next prob is to get it out.
Where can I purchase the required tool at the right price?
And how much am I looking at for this tool?
Or is there someone on SE QLD that has a tool I can have remove it?

Please any help, its shocking not being able to listen to the tunes.

is that the double din one? there should be 2 holes either side of the unit, use a coat hanger or something to stick in all four holes at once and that should dislodge the tabes and it should just come straight out.

Easiest way I have found is to use 2 allen keys that have the ball things on the bottom, wriggle one side out, then move them to the other, it comes out eventually.

you will need to use a big of force to pull, they are in there tight.
