my ipods batteries keep blowing out when using the aux mod plug that was reccomended on this forum...2 ipods and 2 dead ipods.I have a xr6t ba with prestige sound package...any one else have same problem or remedies??

well the doco was written for the EF/EL series .. the BA premo sound must be very different...

The aux input plug for the BA/BF series fords is available from ford spare parts, there are two different ones available, I personally have tried them both and the more one with the booster is MUCH better. The part numbers are:
