Hey,
Just wondering if anyone is using the Factory Auxiliary Booster Kit for their AUX input. I was going to buy one from Ford but was wondering if the unit that ASL have is better (apart from the obvious volume adjustment)? I can get the Ford one cheaper. Does anyone know? Has anyone tried both? Cheers

So i decided to get the Ford auxiliary booster off ebay (from Knox Ford if anyone is interested, they still have them).
I borrowed the dB meter from work and ran a check before installing it. Obviously i used the same song and the same volume on the CD and AUX (without booster) and got: CD: peak 93.5bDA AUX peak 87.1dbA 5dBA is quite a difference seeing tho dB is not linear. Put the unit in and got: CD: peak 93.5dBA AUX peak 93.1dBA It was slightly loader on the AUX but i turned the iPod down a little to get it the same volume. Im happy. Hopefully this helps someone out in the future.
