Hi Guys
Has some one got the part number for the factory BA Bluetooth kit? Are they compadible with Iphone?? Ford don't seem to be much help. They list one but say only for BF. I thought they would suit both BA and BF ?? They could not inform me if it was compadable with Iphone. Before people start steering me to aftermarket I would like to explore the factory devise. It is to go into my BA GT-P and I wish to limit aftermarket devises Cheers Dazza |

Bluetooth and ipod module are integrated in the same wiring package. As to whether it is compatible with an iphone sadly I can't say.Do you wish to play the music from your phone or make and receive calls?

I'm pretty sure there wasnt a kit for the BA's. It was a thing they did for the late BF or BF2's.
I'm guessing all it is is a bluebooth module that plugs into the factory power source and into the mobile phone audio in - like any car kit - so it should work in a BA. They also gave you a d**k looking plate that covered part of the tissue holder with a button in the middle to answer and hang up on calls. http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/showfull.php?photo=44506 Was like $500. Visit the Nokia website for their CK-7W. That should do the job for a very basic bluetooth kit. If you're looking for a kit to integrate to the ICC like the FG's do, you're not going to find anything. |

Nope... It dont talk to the ICC at all.
You'd have to buy an FG for that. |

It dose work in a BA, I have one in my BA mk2, they show up on ebay from time to time for a fare bit less then retail. it wont show the number or the contacts name just the word media on the screen.
As for the Iphone side of things i can't say but all the phones i have tried with it pair no problem (nokia, samsung and htc), all the phones i have used on it see it as a BT headset so i would guess the iphone would probably do the same, it aslo supports voice dialing |

I'd be buying this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-New-Nokia-CK-7W-Bluetooth-Car-Kit-Latest-Version-/300420358019?pt=AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item45f272df83 Same thing. |

Hey Guys newb here just joined tonight and this is my first post
I Picked up my BF MKII XR6 today and it has the factory Bluetooth installed. I have an iPhone 3G and it works well for phone calls however it also plays the music through the bluetooth too!! I'm trying to find a solution for it to stop as the quality is pathetic for music. Ended up turning off Bluetooth and plugging in to the AUX connection. Hope this helps Gav |
