I've just read that the BA headunits have a mercury switch in them incase of a rollover which blows all fuses...
This sounds like a load of crap to me, can anyone confirm?

Hi You should talk to Fadi at ASL but there is no switch it is just that ford says only put icc unit on its side when out of car to avoid damaging the "class a" painted face of the unit, also a 6 stacker unit with discs in it can jam up if turned upside down. Cheers MD

No... There is no tilt switch.
ICC must be kept upright to stop the liquid in the LCD screen from running out. They are only designed to run on certain angles. |

As already said it's to protect the face from scratches, and the 6 stacker itself is sensitive (they f**k up easy enough without 'help').

Just whack the roof of a VT above the cabin light. The doors will pop unlocked if you do it right.
Ever noticed the amount of VT's with a dint in the middle of the roof?
