Hi,
I have a query in that I have a BA Fairmont Ghia with the premium sound in it. I replaced this with Alpine type-r 6.5' in front, 5*7 in rear and a 12' sub. Run by a m-500 and f-300 alpine amps. I now however want to go further with the system. I am limited to two amps as I have a speaker to RCA convertor(rockford fosgate). Firstly would replacing the factory wiring for the speakers be a wise move or is the premium sounds wiring sufficient? Secondly i was thinking of powering the speakers with an f-600 and also adding another 12' sub. Is this amp overkill for the speakers and also can i add the second sub and power both subs with one amp, or any arrangement with two amps, without losin quality? All help will be greatly appreciated |
