hey guys ive got a standard BA audio system that ive upgraded to a system that runs 2 amps and new speakers plus a sub.
In relation to the remote wire to turn the amp on, its currently wired up to the ciggy lighter, however i want to wire it up so that it turns on when the radio is on (directly to the round knob that has the 'on' switch on it). if any one has info on where i can tap into the wire in an easy location with out having to remove most of the dash it would be appreciated. thanks

im not an expert on the icc, but a general fix for that could be to find either the power or ground wire for the audio part (radio, cd player ect) and cut it. then put in a relay in a way that it will take power to make a remote wire

Why don't you just leave it wired from the accessory feed. It's not like you need quiet time is it?

Quote: Why don't you just leave it wired from the accessory feed. It's not like you need quiet time is it? my amp has some hiss, so if im driving around with out the radio on all i can hear is hiss. if i wire it up to the radio, when the radio is off, the amp is off, and no more hiss.
