went to install head unit in tissue box location in my ba today. mounting it was easy no worries but the power that went to the power outlet is no longer giving any power. any ideas? also ever since last week when i unplugged the rear speakers when u turn the stereo on im getting no sound at all.. related? i have already checked fuses. im not having much luck with technology this week, blue up a computer on friday and also broke a barcode scanner.

my rears have been unpluged for about 4 weeks now and have had no worries with hearing the fronts... but that all thats been done, havent installed any other headunits
could you have sheared a wire somewhere?

sorry looks like the cig lighter fuse was blown. dunno whats with the no sound fromt he head unit tho.

turned out to be a fuse.. couldnt see for looking. works now. just need to install 6.5" splits in the front doors (5x7) holes so that should be a sinch
