how do you find the earthquake amp? i have one im looking at at the moment, its about 3 years old though...

I bought mine approx 4 years ago, but there is at least 2 at the moment that i know of that are being sold.

One is going for $650 which is cheap for 2000rms at 1ohm.

Thats alot of wattage! would any one actually use that amount of power?

Yes depending on what your playing and how efficient both your speaker and box design is.

I would never install a system in my car with less than 500rms to the sub, it gives you dynamic headtoom which has a number of benefits maintaing low heat and not putting the amp into clipping are two of the more important reasons.

So, to purchase subs that can handle that sort of power, are we talking big dollars?
