Hi All, its been a while since I was off this forum because I sold that EF I had. Its about time I am a proud owner of 2006 BF XR6 N/A, 6 speed manual with 135Ks on the clock, I am in love with it so far.

I decided to change the ICC from poverty pack to premium ICC with single zone climate from a donor BA. I swapped out the ICC and used my existing BEM with it so the car starts fine, Air con controls work well except ICC screen shows "Security Error Code" on screen.

According to my research I have read that if I have seated the ICC properly and have used my existing BEM for the car then I shouldnt have a problem, therefore I have reseated ICC number of times after resetting the rear white plug to no avail, please see attached pics.







I want some advice before I book it in at FORD Stealership who are asking $140 to look at it and diagnose the problem

Fairly sure you still need to get the radio coded to the car to match the BEM/PCM

you can test the radio side of things by holding menu and am together with the Ignition on

this gives you about 5 mins use before the security code thing comes up again

I tried what you told me, I get the stereo working for 5 minutes so it verified that connection wise there is nothing wrong.

Tested all 6 CDs load, AirCon functions do show up correctly n all, thanks for your help.

I guess i'll book in at a stealership to get stereo programmed into BEM.
