hey all i have a 1993 ford telstar tx5 ax i was wondering if i can pay someone to make me a boot install i have 2x12inch subs and 2 amps i can buy all the wood i need cause im hopeless with wood lol so tell me what the quote will be

yeah theres a place down hear that iv seen down hear that does it... there called warragul audio works... so just ask at a few audio place

well thats the thing i have tryed heaps of times and i only end up wasteing wood thats why i want to as a fellow ford mod member to make me one i would be more then happy to pay him/her for it

I would lend you a hand but I'm too far South.

I think you should get some quotes from car audio installs around your area. Most FM members are pretty busy. Then again, it doesn't hurt to ask.

i know but geuss what i figured out how im gonna do it no wonder why i allways sucked at makeing them lol what im gonna do is do a templete useing card board over the next day and my dad said he will cut the wood for me :) but the most of all is i need to acess my spare wheel which im gonna make a door to get to the spare wheel and i will be posting picks as i go on with it cause im gonna take my time on it even if it has to take me a month to do this time no rushing for me

you are on the right track to use carboard, keep using that idea and you will go along way into getting it done.

Also the idea of doing your boot install is to do it the way you like it, dont fall into the trap of what people think, as its yours and no ones elces.

ok so what i have come up with is boot install now because with my 2x12inch subs i was thinking of ditching them and get 1 15inch sub would that be plenty or should i get 2 15inch subs

If you are not happy with your current setup change it - but remember Quality not Quantity IMO.

they dont feel punchy enough my 2 12inch subs are mtx thunder and jbl with the center cap flew off and i have them wired up to a apline 2ch which the subs are useing there own ch
