K, so I my dyno mat type stuff finally came in the other day and I figured since I have nothing to do Ill do it at work, only problem is I cant get the wire out that connects to the n umber plate light..is there a special way to get it out of the clip as ive tried and tried and tried, it just wont budge.

is this in an el wagon as the number plate light is in the bumper for a sedan. im guessing sedan, the wiring is for the boot lock actuator. the clips that hold the wiring to the boot hinges?, they have 2 prongs,shaped like an arrow,they need to be squeezed together with a v shaped trim tool.

you can get side cutters under it and pull it out, sometimes the clips are able to be reused too.

you can get the same sort of soundproofing as dynamat
At jaycar for ALOT cheaper... Just something I found out as I'm doing the sound proof thing too |

how much, and let us know how it goes, as I'm keen to do something for my roof particulary, it's by far my biggest problem currently.
