Well I fought through the pain of my recently dislocated shoulder and decided to use my very expensive material on my sub boxes which I bought like 3 weeks ago and its just been sitting there nicely :P

anyway I got this stuff, kinda like suede but not, cant remember the name.. is it velour or somethin like that

anyways I finally did it yesterday with the help of my girlfriend and I must say I think it looks pretty good... Once everything else is covered in the same material but silver, and the side bits go on it should look pretty sweet IMO... anyway here are the pics, tell me what u think

Image

on this one you can see how fluffy and suedey the material is

that last pic isnt the best but U get the idea... the neons r just hanging there for the time being, not gonna mount them till whole boot is done.. but I tapped into the boot light and installed them through that so they only turn on when boot is open

Hope you like it

Hey eb_guy do you have a pic of the base cut out that sits on the floor of your boot at all? does it sit level or is it chocked up in some way?

yeh molloy have a look at

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=38718

basically I cut the wood to the size of the boot as far back as the lip before it goes up a bit at the back... I dont have any supports at the moment, its just sitting on the lip and each side but im gonna get some wood for under it as a support as it bends a bit with boxes plus u can hear it fuzzing a bit when the subs r on
