Hey Guys, Just installed new sound system, piooner 1200Watt sub and Pioneer 800W Mono Bloc Amp. All workin very nicely, but i am getting a lot of vibration throuhg the boot which is cause lots of noise outside the car. Inside the car no vibration can be heard but when standing outside it is very loud. Any ideas whats causing it, And even better how i can fix it to stop the vibrating noise
Thanks in advance for your help. Jamie...... |

Its usually the number plate or the skin of the bootlid. Selastic (or similar) and sound deadener in the right places will fix it.

Yeah, exactly the same problem with my mont. The sub makes the top bootlining vibrate against the boot lid. You can take it off though or put something between it like silicon to fix it.

get a tube of sikaflex and put it inbetween the fram and the bootlid skin that should do it.
