now when i tuun the key on after the half hour or so i get the break warning light come on solid and the smartlock jewel flashes repeatidly,

i had a sparky come out we got the startemotor cranking over the motor from the bay which showed us we had no spark, he said replace bcm and ignition switch leave on for half hour and it will start but it wont.

this might be a bit late.. could you have simply blown the fuse that controls the smartlock / interior light... turn the ign on for 30 minutes and then try to start if that works smartlock related if not f**k knows coil related or dizzy related hope this helps

brand new coil pack on her, checked the fuses, its honnestly like the smartlock wont accept the new codes, no fuses are blown, this is becoming a head ache

Presuming it's a six, Smartlock bypass not working or auto ECU not accepting the bypass?
Recheck all ECU wiring changes?
Cheers,
Mac
