Hi guys, I have just installed a Carputer in my bfII. Everything is fine except the contrast is way off. The white is so overpowering that I'm unable to read the text. I have played with the contrast on the cga to VGA converter and also the contrast on the computer but if I make the text readable on the gps screen then the movies are to dark. Has anyone else had this problem? When I look at the youtube videos of other fords with carputers they contrast seems fine.

Thanks in advance,

Hi mate,

This link may be of help. The chap uses 75 ohm resisters between r /g /b and ground respectively. I'm pretty sure though that intensity is controlled via c-sync, but the link may nonetheless be a good frame of reference.

Thanks for your reply. Has anyone else had to do that on a Ford b series?
