Hi guy's

I'm currently looking at getting 2 x 12 inch subs and a amp to power them for my falcon and can't really find a decent place to buy... that isn;t over the top in pricing...

Any ideas?

Cheers

Can't beat the deal I got recently from supercheap auto - I know its supercheap auto, but went in to get a K&N filter for my baby, and ended walking out with K&N filter, 2 x 12" kenwood subs & 2 x kenwood 10" subs. Did a walk through their audio section and saw the subs sitting on the "2nds" trolley - no price tag - so I ask the supercheap dude, and he says, let me check - he comes back and says its ex-demo and they've been written off - so $10 each... $10 EACH - WHAT DA FAAAARK!!?? I asked if they actually worked, so we hooked em up and they worked fine - best $40 and trip to supercheap I have ever had!! X-mass presents for my brothers will be easy this year!! :D

Look after the site sponsers! Contact Jays RPD. They are agents for Jaycar gear. 8-)

No, the whole idea is to have a good sounding system, not excessive amounts of bass. I think that's what Demo_efman is referring to.

have you mentioned how much your willing to spend?

therefore we can figure out whether your looking for supercheap style gear, JB hifi sort of gear, or kickass gear

i'm looking to spend around the 700 buck mark for sub / Subs and amp... the missus will get the s**t otherwise...

and i want decent sound... not something that the fag's can hear from 10 blocks away...

I have the best soundtrack for my car which is my exhaust note.. i don't want to drown it out with bass

I'd probably go to Jaycar, get their 700rms Mono block amp, and 2 of the carbon fibre subs, should cost around $700.
If you're just after clean crisp bass, i would've thought one sub would've been a lot better. Just get a decent Dual Voice Coil 12" or something and a good amp to run it.
