I changed computers and now the radio wont turn on, its asking for a code... anyone know what it is? I dont have any books for this car... its the stock ED radio ( i know its very sad to still be using this radio but as Ive had too many headunits ripped off, Ive lost all interest in decent car sound)

each radio has a unique code,so id suggest you contact ford and ask them.
you will require your vin number too.

just hope that its the factory radio from that car.

if not it can be all sorts of fun getting the code for it.

I dont understand why ford make it so hard. Who the f**k wants to steal a ford radio, let alone buy a stolen one?!

Aftermarket units should have codes, not factory!

thats because Ford want to look as though they are doing something about car security, also customers think they must be a quality radio to have a security code. Its all window dressing.

Well, having a code has prevented it from being stolen... unlike all my previous car radios
