Nice to see another boot install into a fairlane; so much you can yet cant do with the boot shape; id have mine done already if i could decide how the hell i wanted it lol!

Good effort there; lots of room left too, main thing for me...

just on the passenger side. the amps lock up under the parcel shelf.

Took me 2 years due to loss of jobs and money.

its awesome to finally have some useable boot space and be able to get to the spare wheel.

it has a 2 peice false floor so i can store tools and other stuff with out messing it up. i don't have to be ashamed of opening the boot anymore, and i can open it at car shows.

i still have a screen to go in the boot which will be in on friday night.

yeah Josh, i'll be up before xmas to do the family present run so we'll definately catch up then!! whats happened to Dunis??

that looks really good, nice work man.

love how you have managed to keep of boot space...

just a slightly off topic question, how do amp's handle vibrations? if an amp was to be screwed into the side of a sub box would the vibrations eventually kill it?

before i had this install my amps were just screwed onto the top of the sub box, does affect them much, might get abit warmer than usual due to friction.

Car amps are designed to go into a rather hazardous environment (for regular electronics). So they're made to take heat (hot sunny day), vibration (road and doof), as well as the variable power supply.

The only problem I'd see with vibration was to be if there was a dry solder joint in there somewhere, it'd probalby work itself loose.
