i have a 95 ef sedan.
I have put in a new pioneer HU and a new automatic aerial. wen ever i go around a corner it starts making really anoying sounds but only on radio with a cd its fine. i also had this problem before the aerial and HU any help would be appreciated |

if it was a conventional coil/distributor setup i'd say it's the ignition thats responsible, and that you need a condensor on the coil, but as it's an EF with coilpack ignition......... f**k if i know

If its around one particular corner, then I would say reception.
If its round every corner, something is moving a wire around. Maybe if you get to the back of your head unit and play around moving the wires while the radio is going, see if that does anything. |

its not interference in power! the inner core on the coaxial cable for the antenna is very thin and can easily break, you may notice that the signal is weaker. a fast test is to put an ohm meter between the tip of the antenna plug and the antanna its self, jiggle and or gently pull the cable back and forth, they normally break at the kick panel.

thanxs for the replies my guess is that the aerial extension cable is blame
the only thing that i havent replace i will test the cable tommorow thanxs again |
