Hello
I am considering replacing my factory front door speakers with the Jaycar Precision Kevlar Coaxials - 6.5" 2 Way (CS2324) speakers. Does anyone have an opinion on the performance of these speakers? I am planning on driving the speakers with an aftermarket headunit (4 x 52w). My plan was to install these speakers in the front doors and then install an amplifier and subwoofer in the boot. In addition, I will disconnect the rear factory speakers. Any advice will be appreciated. Regards Anthony |

I've got no hesitation using any of jaycars amps or speakers - great bang for your buck.
If you're amping something amp the front speakers, don't run them from the HU it ought to be a crime.

They should be fine, I have not heard the newer series ones myself but a mate has them and says they are quite good value.

G'day
Ive got a set of these, just not running them in my car atm. I put them in a mates vs commonwhore to see what they sounded like. I was quite impressed with them. I only paid 120 for the pair so i'm happy with them. I like them a little more than my cerwin vegas (which cost me 3 times the price) because they dont have harsh tweeters. In saying that the cerwins are designed for techno (apprantly, thats what the sales rep told me) so that would explain the harsh tweeters. The thing i like about my cerwins is that all the crossover points are adjustable on board. The jaycars dont have this, but you cant be picky when they cost 120. Thats my 2 cents worth. Cheers
