OK, so I pulled the dash apart on my DA LTD with premo sound, and i'm wanting to know what to do with the 3 big "DIN" style plugs that I unplugged from the back of the head unit!
Most cars have one or 2 flat or square-ish plugs but the LTD has 3 round ones, and the wiring in the car is all multicore cable, to each plug, so no colour co-ordination to suss out what pin does what!! ANYONE PLEASE HELP! cheers, spud |

can you take a pic for a visual?
with some of the multicore cables all the single wires inside are all for example black but are numbered along the way, this could mean having to strip it back a fair bit to find them?? would like to know how they fit the plug off if there isnt any markings at all to work to tho. Prob need to see it to understad properly.

two of those goes to the amp and to the remote control thingy, which you will have to pull console out to remove. or maybe not worry about them

i could be wrong, but wouldn't the Falcon wiring be different, as it wouldn't have the rear passenger remote or amp?

i'm actually talking bout where the head unit goes, and the wiring to it.
I'll be ripping out the factory amp and speakers and replacing it all with a full system to match. Has anyone wired up an after market head unit from these 3 factory round plugs?? cheers, spud. |
