just curious what others are running what setup have you got and what db my old system ran 130.00db thats with 1 us audio 12" goliath sub running of a us audio 754Z 4 channel amp and 1 farad cap. my new setup is a rockford fosgate p2 12" sub running of a p3001 amp and a 1 farad cap dont know db yet waiting for next local comp (which is saturday in my home town) if i dont get highier i will be pretty angry cheers

Hey mate, jsut wondering ive got a Rockford fosgate, P2 12D4 if u wanted another sub to run of your P3001, as ive got 2 running of my P3001 at the moment.

2 Subs are better than 1 mate, amkes a big differnce

I got 139.7 with a 15inch rockford fosgate power HX2 sub in my EA. Sealed box (about a cubic foot) and roughly 600-700wrms going into it.

nah i wanna stick with one sub for comp reasons i would stand no chance with 2 the figures are to high and my single 12 is better than most 2 12 setups in the area anyway

was that an in car measurement with your speakers goin as well cos i have hit 130 db

but a proper reading needs to be just your sub bass as they do in db comps

nice numbers i have 2 p2 with a p6001 got 137.7db is ur box sealed or ported? is ur system sq or spl
?

i just got my reading last night it is 134.7 enough to win the comp in my class so im pretty happy the box is ported but i still need to make one to suit that sub and the sub isnt run in yet

I should correct myself on this, the internal measurments of my box was approx 1 foot cubed, so with the displacement of the sub, it would've been smaller...

still doesn't seem to work out to fit a 15" sub.

its the kicker 1200.1 amp hammers like s**t lol
yeah i built the box to spl specs with a 4" slot port and its so bid i actually had to build and appolster it in the boot lol
but its well worth it when i shatter the dreams of little lancer drivers with 2 sony subs when i beat them by >10db lol. it makes the 1000's of bucks worth it lol

lol it was a bloody small box. Recommended size for it was 1.25cubic feet. I had origionally designed the box to be exactly that, but for some reason we must've did the calculations wrong and the box ended up being far too small. Here's a pic....
