Try the Viper 791XV. It has the features you want and you can get black wiring looms for them! I've fitted a few and they are great alarms.

Clifford. I just bought there top of the rrange one with everything. They have never sold it all in Australia and i had to wait for some components to be shipped over from the USA but very good stuf.
PS i am selling my alarm if anyone is interested. Code Alarm ntop of the range 7600 with 6 button 7 function remote inc remote start and remote start module and brand new remote controcontrol + one other control, will be cheap too... Doesn't have pager remote though... .

I needed more features to be able to max out points in that section of CAASQ 2006 Judging format.
Also wanted more security features. The Code is a good alarm and has heaps of additional features but the Clifford has - Dual Microwave - Dual shock - Dual ultrasonic - 12 points of imobilisation - Internal screamer siren - Voice activation - Pager remote - SMS trigger notification - Programable voice wanrings as well as sirens (i.e. "Step back mother truicker") - Other cool and unique features you will see in my SQ car build when it's done. Mind you it comes at a price.....

Fairly vicious Pitbull with a studded leather collar should do the trick. Be pretty cheap as well compared to installing an alarm.
And when it s**t on the seats, you can rub it in with a soft cloth. Would at least match the seat colour. |

Funny blokes.
Before reading all these posts i've bought the Viper 791VX......not black wiring but has the remote start and pager. The SMS notification would be good to have but if that alarm comes at a price, there's just too many things on the table with cars right now. |

Or you could do what i've done and get an old phone, get a prepaid phone card and set your own phone number on speed dial on all the 1 to 9 buttons.
Then pull the phone apart and solder 2 wires to the key pad behind the #5 button and hook it through a mini relay so when the alarm goes off it will ring your phone. (one wire to earth and the other wire to negative output from the siren wire) I've used an old nokia 6210 phone to do this. When you open the phone up it will have a target like bullseye under the #5 button so you can solder a wire to the middle circle and one to the out side circle. You will have to use small wire to solder to the circuit board. You can use a 4 pin plug for the negative switching in from the alarm and the other 2 pins you can hook up to a 12 volt car charger , so it will charge the phone while it is in the car! It might sound a bit confusing but it works a treat!! From what i,ve heard DEI, who make viper alarms will be bringing out their own automated dialing system to ring your own phone at the end of the year. I,m not a 100% sure on that, but that's what i've been told! Cheers, Dave.

Like this
I built the same thing about 6 years ago. Works a treat. Only problem was that the batteries died after a while of constant charging. Found it much better to have the phone running continually off a voltage regulator. Whole unit only consumes 60mA at idle, and 170 when dialling Much better than any SMS paging device IMHO, as i've set the caller groups to play a car alarm as the ringing tone when its from the Falcon. An SMS just doesn't get the attention Saved my EB from 2 break ins (and consequent convictions), and will now serve the EF faithfully for a few years to come. I can't believe commercial units cost upwards of $500 when you can build it yourself for around $30
