I have a set of Dls splits but the x overs have been misplaced
but i have a set of Soundstream ones sittin in my room could i use these soundstream ones on the dls Speakers and Tweeters?? |

Can't see why not. Cross over filters out chosen frequencies, so I guess it should work out the same.
Only thing I can think of that might be a problem is the power rating. phong =P~

Normally you cant use different cross overs as they are set to filter at different frequencies, specific to the speakers they came with.
If you can find the specs of both crossovers, and if theyre pretty close then you might be okay. You dont want the tweeter playing too low or you'll blow them pretty easy, and you dont want the mid playing to high as it will sound less than ideal. Thought about running active? |

You also need to be aware of impedance is an issue, if they are different it will cause phase shifts or incorrect crossover points, so you need to know what the crossover points for the DLS speakers are and what the crossover point of the crossover is plus the impedance of the drivers, if all is the same then it will work ok

its all kool they were in the last spot i looked
There all 90% setup now i just have 2 mount the tweeters |
