Get the screw from somewhere that sells that brand amp. |

get a screw from a automotive shop like super cheap, the screw should be metric and get a 5mm diameter washer that fits on the screw and use a crinp lug on your earth lead and that way you will have a good earth connection

Tony What so the cable can fall out , have the amp looking for an earth from somewhere , end up earthing through the case and blowing it? Tony you truly are an idiot. Go off and have a sleep before you say that it was a joke or you are tired from being up since 2am working on your car. If you have no idea which it is obvious that you dont just shut up!

Could ask Jaycar or similar. Or go to somewhere that sells nut n bolts etc, and say I need a bolt n washer for this.
Problem solved. |

IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT THAT WAY PROPERLY, YOU WOULDNT HAVE A PROBLEM AS IT IS AS SIMPLE AS STRIPPING IT ENOUGH FOR IT TO GO INTO THE HOLE AND RIGHT AROUND ENOUGH TOUCH THE WIRE AGAIN, THEN SOLDER IT, THEN TAPE IT UP 2. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT, I AM NOT AN IDIOT AND I DO HAVE A LIFE AND A JOB, THATS WHY I HAVE JACK s**t TIME IN THE MORNING AND ARVO TO DO ANYTHING SO I HAVE TO BE UP AT 2AM, BREAKFAST, GO WORK ON CAR FOR 1 HR, SHOWER, CATCH TRAIN AT 4:35 TO GOSFORD, START WORK AT 5AM, THERE ALL DAY UNTIL 3PM, THEN GET HOME, TRY TO FIX CAR THEN SLEEP 3. I DO HAVE AN IDEA ON WHAT I AM DOING SO WHY WONT SOMEONE ELSE JUST SHUT UP AND KEEP THEIR COMMENTS TO THEMSELVES it may help people in life on a brighter note, well done on the dyno yesterday EVL098, in the video it looked like it still had way more to give, but 185BHP is more than respectable for an NF fairlane

Well thanks Tony but I think the old boat was flat out there.
To fix the issue with the current draw of an amp the way you described will not work. It will end up in disaster. Yeah I have a job too and a life so get my cars done as I can.

Bring on the Pelican I say!
I did say at the start of it there will end up being at least one entry of mine in there. Just remember but that the comment has to be a serious one , not just taking the piss. Have no fear I can cop it as well as I give it.
