|
i installed my h/u and when i program radio stations and turn the off the key and when i turn the h/u back on (5mins) all the stations are easred, can any body help?

you probably dont have your h u 'memory' wire hooked up to 'all the time' power from the car. get a multi metre and check which power wires have 12v when the ignition is off. connect it to that, rather than a wire that loses power when the ignition is off.

in other words the wire on the back of the head unit should be yellow you need to find the constant power as that is what keeps the memory for the head unit
get a test light when the h/u is out place the clamp of the test light to a good earth and stick the point of the testlight in the wires with out the ignition on and only one should light the test light up when it does that will be your memoey for your head unit.

your workshop manual should show you which 2 wires are for power and acc
