So today me and a mate connected up my double din dvd player so my el. We started it up and it was working fine but then time came in to slide it in. The new DVD didn't come with a bracket so we tried to use the standard one from my head unit but cant seem to find a hole on the side to screw the bracket into the double din. Is there any way I can use the stock brackets and fit this double din in and having sitting in properly?

You sure you are trying to put the brackets in the right place??...even my cheapo DD chinese special had holes in the right spot.

But if there are no holes you may have to make up a cradle using the orginal brackets...or if its not a new DD you could take the lid off and see if you have enough clearance to tap some wholes in the side.
