I've changed my mind.
TRU Tech Sledge Hammer for the sub amp + TRU tech front stage amps probably the T03.150's. The Davinci is still up there though. Front stage wise either DLS irridum Ultimate 8.3 or Dynaudio Sys360 + Escotar tweeters... Either way all well out of my reach...

I'll be quite happy with my current system, when I get my JL 12" sub, and as yet undecided mono block amp to run it.
Currently running Pioneer DEh-P8650 HU, Pioneer TS-C160R splits up front, and Pioneer TS-E? 3 ways somethings on the parcel shelf, both driven by a Pioneer 6100f amp (actually I'd upgrade that to a nicer SQ amp) That'll do pig, that'll do

Human reign are oone of the best sounding and built amps in the world at the moment. Of course for $7,999ea they would want to be...
XXX is one of a growing breed of huge monoblock amps...

2,000rms is still plenty of power but for the SPL'ers 2,000rms is just the begining.

I would love to hear a pair of Scanspeak Ring Revelator Tweeters. I have heard some very impressive things about them, so when someone gets a set let me know.

my dream set up would be a whole home theatre system in the car =D with a projector that can come out of my sunroof for outdoor entertainment......okai i think thats not possible so my possible dream system would be anything that sounds good and complete.

Full surround sound system.
8.1 Channel DTS HD 196kHz 24-bit home theatre amp All audio connections via Toslink optical cable, and all power by pure platinum strand wire. Mids and Highs running Focal 130V splits for each channel all on slightly different angles to reduce cancellation of some frequencies. Bottom end running 2x Iridium 12s for nice controlled bass. All enclosures painstakingly tuned with spectrum analyser to suit the cabin to perfection! Bliss! |

my dream system... anything other than the stock papercone stock pioneer speakers in my car...
pyroay... any suggestions on what i should replace the four door speakers / parcel shelf speakers with ? good bang for bucks - easy to fit - minimal piss f@rt around... not aiming for high end SQ or SPL...just something that would make better use of my $450 kenwood HU and allows me to crank it up without making my speakers crackle ?

Heaps of things you could consider, inc many brands i dont have much experience with such as fusion, JL audio.
I still maintain Alpine Type R are good value for money and performance, rockford fosgate although i'm not sure on $$, i'm not a fan of clarion sound (other than HX-d2)
