Would this work. As far as i can see it should.
Main power from battery, use a relay so the circuit is only power when ignition is on. Use a 5 pin relay so that the driving lights are always powered, when the low beam switches on it switches power over to the blank lug (Driving lights dont get power), with the 3 way switch (On/Off/On) you can have it set to switch by the low beams, turn them off, or have them on, so that the first On is actually Off, Off is to turn them on, and Last On to have Automatic. Makes sence to me.... I think.... I may have the 87 & 87a posts around the wrong way in the pic, i cant remember which way it goes but you get the idea. By The way, the first relay (Ignition Power Relay) would be a fused relay of course.

Yes. 87a is the terminal that is powered when the Relay is "Off"
87 is the terminal powered when it is "on" |

Thats a change over relay, differant to what someone would normally use for driving lights. Here they are from Narva's site
