Hello
Is there a head unit for cars that can run mp3 off dvd-r/rw's ? I thinking of this instead of a cd mp3 stacker as I could fit all my music on a few dvd's anyway and wouldn't need to change between when each dvd has a lot of albums on it. I have found ones that say they are dvd-r/rw compatible and they play mp3's but none specifically say they run mp3 off dvd-r/rw? If they are available how much?

No idea but I am aware of an Alpine six CD stacker that plays MP3's which would be an enormous amount of MP3 storage and playing time.

I have a JVC head unit that supports Giga MP3 ( mp3's on DVD) DV5105 is the model and JB was the supplier @ $435.

The JVC KD-AVX1 supports giga mp3.
