Hi,

I have an 88 ea falcon and am trying to install an aftermarket head unit. Does anyone know the wiring colours for things sych as power, memory and ground? So far, i think black is ground, white/blue is power and yellow/green is memory however it's not working. :(

was in your exact position mate. Go down to where you bought the head unit from and ask them for a wiring harness for an EA. It makes it so much easier when you are putting the thing in the car, and a cleaner job aswell.

Cheers mate

use a continuity tester to find constant + and ignition positive, the use the constant + and continuity tester to find the earth, as for speakers, use a 9v batter and touch the wires on it to pop the speaker. thats what i did.

Having a look at http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=15 might help as well . . .
