Whats a solution to get 6-6.5 inch front speakers in the door trim of this car. Unfortunately its non power window so no EL Ghia trims with power windows can be installed.
Do i have to buy a door pod? WHere from? |

is it series1 or series 2??
series 1 had the 4" speaker but the black speaker mount can be removed, but unfortunatly it leaves you with a 6" square hole... series 2 eb already has 6" speakers so aslong as there not a deep speaker you can fit something else.. |

Yep, Troy's right. Series 2 EB's have trims like this:
 Speakers mount to the actual door behind the trim  And you can convert to power windows. Tech doc: http://www.fordmods.com/documents.php?d=21 Power window regs can be had on eBay if you can't be bothered ripping them out of a wreck.

if you don't want the grilles the they can be removed then take out the black boxes, a little trimming and new speakers with only the cones visible through the holes.
