Well my left rear speaker has no power at all but all of the other speakers are still working. Is it a b**ch to rewire the car?

is it still the factory hu?
I'd be checking the continuity of the wire first with a meter. Then make sure the speaker isnt rooted. Then maybe run a new wire, or find where the open circuit is

Nah definately re-wire the whole car if your speaker isn't working. Start by taking all the dash out.

Just thinking about that gives me nightmares... I'd run a new wire, and nothing else!

If it's the factory speakers make sure the terminal hasn't pulled away from the speaker. When they do this the braide on the speaker shorts out on the speaker basket (frame). Seen this heaps of times.
Just a thought! Cheers, Dave.
