if your running an auto box? you can run it through where the clutch cable normally runs..

I ran mine through the hole in the firewall for the clutch cable (this hole is obviously already used in manual EF/EL's). It's to the right of the booster, sort of behind the right edge of it if you look at it straight on. On an auto equipped EF/EL, the hole is left un-used, so just run your power wire up towards the firewall along the inside of the guard and up by the shock tower, then you can route it behind the booster if you want and in through the clutch cable hole.
It will pop through and you will be able to see it when you look under the dash/pedalbox area, then just route it to the amp |

Seeing as I have a manual, I ran my 0g cable thru a slightly enlarged bonnet release cable hole.

I have found the easiest way is for the cable to exit the engine bay where the battery box vents to the guard. If the splash shield is removed, you will see there is a look that runs along it, and into the cabin. I have followed this loom. The look enters the cabin right behind the kick panel. You will need a cable that is a bit longer, but you will save yourself the hassle of negotiating up behind the dash (which is a benefit for us bigger blokes). As the cables are not running along the engine bay, it looks a but neater too

Thats true, but I wanted to have a bit showing, so when it comes up into the bay its all straight, into a large fuse box, then tucks under the rad bottle to the battery.
