sorry if the answer is already on here but did a search and couldn't find what i'm after.. trying to fit a new headunit to my ef ghia but not having any luck with mounting brackets :? .. can anyone help me out, any help much appreciated :)

i had this same problem..
i just did a ghetto job and drilled some holes in the original one lol.
the one that came with my headunit (JVC, KD-R705) makes the unit sit too far back into the dash.
so id be interested to hear what others have done here also!

i did the same just drilled out some holes

that way u can get it sittin where u want it too

neer the front of the bracket there is 3 lil holes if u draw a line between the 2 opposed ones and drill a hole in the middle it should be bout right have fun

I just made my own side brackets and drilled holes in them to mount the head-unit

Has not fallen out in 5 years lol.
