I have a EF Series 2 Fairmont Ghia and am going to put a bluetooth car kit in it...does anyone know if the Premium System in the Fairmont Ghia has built in radio / CD mute or do you have to by a relay for this to happen???

Has anyone been able to do this, if so how???

As far as I know they only introduced the radio mute wire on EL Ghia. It actually explain on page 104 of EL owners manual.

Check the tech docs on the site. There is a phone mute pin, it may be on your unit if you are lucky.

It was on the later EFs but was not used, as far as I know.
