Took out the stock Ford Pioneer 4's from the parcel shelf only to find they are very weird.
How easy is it to convert this werid loom like wiring setup to a normal one to plug in my 6x9's? |

u can buy a plug that will plug into the loom and convert into 2 wires for your 6x9's from autobarn or places like that.

Just buy some male spade terminals and some speaker wire then make your own adaptors.

What i always do is cut the ford plug off and solider and heat shrink new plugs on. Works a treat.
I hate doing bad work when it comes to the sound system.

EF Fairmonts definitely DO NOT have 4" rear speakers - they are 6". My 6.5" Boston Acoustic rears slipped right in, no massaging required.

i dont know what solder tape is exactly but it sounds dodgy as... i say there are three options: 1. terminal strips - quick, easy, reuseable 2. crimp lugs - also fairly quick, easy and reusuable 3. soldering - fidliy, you need a soldering iron, gives the best sound result NEVER use sticky tape to hold two wires together like my mate does
