hi all.
my EF remote central locking button is not working? I have replaced the battery and is still not working. any ideas?

have u tried to reprogram the central locking? to get it to learn the remote again?

do u need the stock radio to reprogram the keys? cos someone told me that,

You do not need your original radio.
1. Shut All doors but do not lock them 2. Turn the key to 1, which is just radio, windows and clock. 3. within 5 seconds, press the demister button 3 times, so press, press, press. the demister should be still on but do not turn it off 4. The door locks will now cycle and stop in the lock position, press one of the buttons on the remotes 1 at a time and each time you press the button, the door locks will cycle, that remote is programmed 5. repeat number 4 for all of the remotes. 6. once all remotes are programmed in, turn the ignition off and the doors will unlock, continue to test all remotes. Hope this helps

{USERNAME} wrote: have u tried to reprogram the central locking? to get it to learn the remote again? yes i have tried this. it only works on occasions and very rarely. the little light lights up dimm and sometimes not at all. when it does work it shows as a bright red. still hav no idea what is wrong???
