hey all,
my volume knob is fubar'ed. i can sort of get it to work sometimes, other times, it will keep going louder even if im turning it down, or vise versa. any thoughts of whats causing this or how i can fix it? |

The one on the headunit?
Prolly old age and damaged, spend $10 bucks or something and get another second hand one! |

can i change the casset deck and not the stacker? or do i have to change both units?

should be able to just change the headunit, provided it's with the same model, and everything should work fine!

If you can solder or know someone that can. Remove the HU and access the PCB, it will be 1 or 2 broken solder joints on the volume pot. You have to remove it anyways even if you buy a new or secont hand HU.
